A player with better conditions would be in the Red Devils' sights.

Hopes of having a competitive Manchester United team have begun to blossom with the new management having bought the team for almost 6 billion pounds. Erik ten Hag's side can savor the fight they are going to have with the big clubs to take away their biggest stars in a summer market that looks like a dream, but could end in a nightmare if negotiations do not go well.

Although the transfer window has not yet begun, there is already a meticulous analysis of what the Dutch coach needs to go far in the top competitions that the Red Devils will have. It is expected that one of these world-class talents could be joining Antony and Bruno Fernandes up front for the UEFA Champions League.

The biggest wish for the players at Old Trafford is Neymar Jr. The PSG board expects a formal offer for the Brazilian in the coming days and to know if they can count on him for next season. They do not want the same thing to happen as with Lionel Messi who has just signed for Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, and getting a juicy contract and several commercial agreements with prestigious brands in technology and sportswear.

But the main thing for ten Hag is the defense. Raphael Varane remains an effective partner in the defensive saga and fans are beginning to despair of Harry Maguire who has already been offered a move away by paying his release clause so that he can look for another team in the coming months. It seems that this could open the opportunity to see another good defender in the red jersey who does not have the disdain of Manchester United fans.

Who is United's new obsession?

The portal Calcio Mercato reports that, after Napoli's Min-Jae Kim's refusal to join Manchester United and move to Bayern Munich, Perr Schuurs is the man they are looking to sign. The Torino player is also being followed by Newcastle, Liverpool and AC Milan. Leicester had offered 26 million euros for his signature, but United would be giving a higher amount to get him.
