Undoubtedly this has been a sensational season for Manchester City, having conquered a historic treble for the Citizen fans, winning the trophies of Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League. Manchester City’s coach, the Spanish Pep Guardiola, engraved his name in English football history by equalizing an old Manchester United record in England, with Erling Haaland as a key factor to complete the equation.
The Norwegian striker destroyed all the English football records, scoring 52 goals in 53 games, and setting a new Premier League scoring record with 36 in a Premier League season, leaving top scorers such as Alan Shearer or Andy Cole (34 goals in a PL season) behind his legend.
During his vacations, Haaland has had the time to stay in Norway for a few days, where he enjoyed the nature in his native land and surprised a group of kids in a training camp in Jærhallen, but he had the chance of visiting Spain, to be with one of his teammates, Aymeryc Laporte, in the defense’s wedding with the Spanish dancer Sara Botello. However, the most surprising thing in the Norwegian idol’s career is that he seems to be able to set records in his career even while he’s on vacation.
On these days, the site Transfermarkt, refreshed its list of the most expensive players in the world and obviously, Erling Haaland is there, on the first position of the list, with a value of €180 million, shared with Kylian Mbappe, the only player who could be close of the Norwegian numbers this season (52 goals in 53 games) having 41 goals in 43 games with the PSG.
