The Brazilian goalkeeper could no longer be Klopp's go-to man and would look to an older compatriot.

Liverpool failed to reach the UEFA Champions League and will have to settle for a lower-level competition such as the UEFA Europa League. But, despite not being what their fans had hoped for, they will be looking to conquer this new challenge anyway.

Many voices were saying that Jürgen Klopp was on the verge of leaving the Reds, but he still has some sympathy from the board. They know that they have reached important European finals and won the Champions League recently, so the confidence is still high to reverse the bad season.

But now it is time to focus on the new players the Anfield side could sign for next season. A cold analysis is being made of which positions need to be stronger, and perhaps one of these is goalkeeping, where they have conceded enough goals to worry about.

Now, it is said that there is a veteran goalkeeper who could shake Alisson, who so far has the job as a lock, but the substitutes are no longer being considered such as Adrian San Miguel and Caoimhin Kelleher. But if he gets careless, the Brazilian goalkeeper could also be considered in danger of losing his starting place.

Who is the goalkeeper Klopp wants?

According to media reports in Germany, it would be Hannover 96 goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zi

eler. He is 34 years old and has been a first-choice keeper for the Bavarians for the last three seasons. Jürgen Klopp already knows him and is looking to sign him immediately, in order to have internal competition between the three goalkeepers.
