David de Gea, a goalkeeper whose contract Manchester United did not renew last summer, published a cryptic and cold message with an emoticon after his ex's defeat against Newcastle.

The Spanish goalkeeper published the emoji known as ice cold after Newcastle beat Manchester United 1-0, and endorsed it with a reply with a cold cartoon.

De Gea is being requested by the Manchester United public to replace the controversial Onana in goal at Old Trafford. Last season the 33-year-old goalkeeper posted several cryptic messages on Twitter when his future was unclear, and he even recently posted an emoji when discussing his return to Manchester United.

David de Gea has been away from Manchester United for a few months but he is very attentive to everything that happens in his former club. The Spaniard did not hesitate to position himself alongside a former teammate when he received criticism. The team is not having regularity and the tests on the squad are continuous.

The Spaniard knows better than anyone what it's like to be in the spotlight game after game.
