Manchester United surprised the football fans in the last few hours by finally revealing the number that their new striker Rasmus Hojlund will wear with the club. The Danish player, who joined the club this summer for €85 million from Atalanta, had been out of the squad due to being recovering from a back injury, but he would make his debut this week against Arsenal on the fourth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season.

Meanwhile, Sergio Reguilon will not finally wear the number 3 as expected but the number 15, and Alejandro Garnacho, who had worn the number 49 during the club’s preseason will finally wear the Manchester United’s number 17 shirt, emuling the number worn by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal at the start of his career in 2004, once the number 7 is currently owned by Mason Mount at Manchester United.
