The Danish players won’t be available for the next few games

Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag was slammed again by the injuries in his squad once it was confirmed the unavailability of two players in his squad for the next few games, which would mean a great step back for the Mancunian institution, as the importance of the players in the Dutchman’s side would create a great inconvenient to solve in the next few weeks.

The players in question would be the Danish players Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund, who were recently withdrawn from the Denmark national team called up for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovenia and North Ireland during the international break.

According to the Mancunian journal Manchester Evening Standard, Eriksen, who suffered a left knee injury would be out of the pitch for a month, and Rasmus Hojlund, who suffered a muscle distension during the home game against Luton Town, would be expected to return to play at the last weeks of November.

Their absences will be a great blow for Ten Hag’s plans

Following these sources, the absences will be a great blow for Ten Hag’s plans at Manchester United, and the Dutchman could pick between Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat to cover the absence of Eriksen, while Anthony Martial would be expected to replace Hojlund as the team’s center forward in the next few games.
