Last season was a dream for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, as they managed to win the treble and finally won the long-awaited Champions League that had been denied to the citizens in recent years, however the Spanish tactician could suffer major casualties this summer.
A few weeks ago it was confirmed what for months was an open secret and that, at the same time, was one of the greatest fears of Pep Guardiola, as FC Barcelona managed to convince Ilkay Gundogan to join them and leave Guardiola and Manchester City, and what is worse is that he left as a free agent and when he had become more important in Pep's scheme.
However, it seems that this is not the end of the bad news for the current Premier League champions, as for several weeks now Bernardo Silva has been linked with a possible exit from the team, as he has a great offer on the table from Al-Hilal of the powerful Saudi Pro League, which would put at risk his continuity at City, and his possible departure would be very sensitive, as there is no other player with his characteristics in the current squad of Guardiola's team.
In addition to Al-Hilal, it seems that FC Barcelona have also joined the race to sign Bernardo Silva, although it is said that their offer would not be at all attractive to Manchester City as it would be a loan with option to buy, while Saudi Arabia's offer would be 70 million euros to pay for his signing, in addition to 50 million per year for the player. But, unfortunately for Pep, this would not be his only problem either.
According to the German press, FC Bayern would be monitoring Argentine youngster Julian Alvarez in case their attempts to sign Harry Kane do not succeed. Although this transaction looks very complicated, as Alvarez has shown no signs of wanting to leave the club.
