The Argentine striker could face a new challenge in Europe

Manchester City could lose another important piece of the treble squad, as Julian Alvarez could be ready to start a new challenge outside the club to lead one of the most recognised and historical forward lines in the continent. The Argentine striker hasn’t played all the minutes he would like to and could have been promised to sign a very lucrative contract, giving him the chance to make history again out of Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s coach, the Catalan Pep Guardiola could already have requested the Citizens to make an effort to grant him an elite squad for next season, as many of the players who were able to conquer the historic treble under his management are being sold in this transfer market window, reducing the level of his team’s attack.

In this sense, Julian Alvarez could exit from Manchester City as Ilkay Gundogan already did, to join a big project in Germany, as reported by the English channel Sky Sports. Following that source, Bayern Munchen could be interested in Julian after having gotten two offers for Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham.

Julian could make history in Germany

After not having been able to sign Harry Kane, the Bundesliga champions could have started talks to sign Julian Alvarez, either transferred or gotten on a loan from Manchester City, according to Sky Sports. In Munchen, Julian would have the possibility of making history with the Bavarian team, as he could overcome Martin Demichelis and Jose Sosa as the most successful Argentine player in Bayern history if he could win the Champions League with the German team.
