He could be close to a potential exit from the club

Jürgen Klopp plans to rebuild Liverpool have started, as one of the main goals of the German coach for this transfer market window is rejuvenate the team’s midfield, where the Reds have lost James Milner and Nabil Keita, while Fabio Carvalho has gone on loan to RB Leipzig and Curtis Jones doesn’t fit yet in the profile of high elite player to face the challenges Liverpool has ahead next season.

In this sense, the German coach has already to complete this rejuvenation of the midfield with the arrivals of the Argentinian Alexis McCallister and the Hungarian Dominik Szoboszlai, who are called to be the main actors in Liverpool’s midfield for many years, while Jürgen Klopp is still willing to sign more players for that team area and the names of Gabri Veiga from Celta de Vigo and Romeo Lavia from Southampton are linked with a potential arrival to Liverpool.

However, the Jürgen Klopp plans for the midfield could end with some veterans out of the team next season, and rumors have also started to appear, placing the 32-year-old player Thiago Alcantara on the list of the players who could potentially leave the club to make room to the young players arriving to the squad.

The player’s future could be at ‘home’

Thiago Alcantara has completed a decent season with Liverpool and fits a demanded profile either in Premier League or La Liga, where he has already been linked with Celta de Vigo. The Spanish club is close to lose his wonderkid Gabri Veiga in this transfer window and they are thinking about getting the Liverpool player back to Galicia, where his father Mazinho and his brother Rafinha already played for Celta de Vigo, a place Alcantara could also call his home very soon.
