Chelsea’s coach Mauricio Pochettino has started to plan the new season for the Blues and several known faces in the team won’t be in the new Chelsea’s era. As a part of his team rebuild, Mauricio Pochetino and the club have decided to sell many players in the squad to get fresh cash to reinvest in the new names for the project.
In this sense, the club’s plan has included the sale of almost 14 players, with Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek already out of the club. The next player to follow on the list has been the American midfielder Christian Pulisic, who is living his last hours as a Premier League player.
In the last few days, Chelsea has found a buyer for Pulisic and the deal is close to being completed as the Blues have already received an offer from AC Milan for the 24-year-old player, which will be negotiated in the next few hours.
At the moment, according to the English journal The Athletic, AC Milan have recently made a €14 million bid for Pulisic, who has just one year left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge. However, Chelsea considers that the player’s valuation should be higher and is expecting a more attractive offer from Milan or any other team to let the player go, so a Milan move could be made in the next few hours to close the deal.
