Liverpool saw how Chelsea completed their massive hijack of the Moises Caicedo’s signing in the last few hours, after making the personal terms agreed with the player prevail over the Reds’ offer, which confused Jürgen Klopp and enraged the Liverpool fans according to the Daily Mail.

Following the Fabrizio Romano sources, the Ecuadorian player, who would have already agreed personal terms with the Blues in May, would sign an eight-year contract valid until 2031 with an option to extend it one more season until 2032, in a deal to be completed before the game to be played against Liverpool in Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

Liverpool’s owners could face a controversial situation

In this respect, it results especially controversial the fact that the Liverpool’s owners would have traveled some days ago to USA confident of having completed the deal with a massive €127 million offer, and now they would arrive to Stamford Bridge to meet in the game the Chelsea’s owner Todd Boehly, who finally has reached an agreement with Brighton and has signed the player for Chelsea. Anyway, Moises Caicedo will not be available to play with the Blues, since he should be registered first by the Premier League, and he could make his debut in the next Chelsea’s game against West Ham next Sunday.
