Liverpool are likely to have a major reshuffle for next season in the Premier League. Jürgen Klopp's side cannot afford to drop out of the top places and miss out on a ticket to the UEFA Champions League, as was the case this season when they could only finish fourth overall, so there will be major changes.

That is why the Reds have already made the first move in the summer transfer window for next season. Alexis Mac Callister has already been unveiled with the team in the powerful and heavy number 10 shirt and will be the man who will lead the attack led by Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah to return to the top and try to steal the limelight from Manchester City.

But the signings are not going to stop there. The windows of opportunity have opened with other players and Liverpool want to be among the first to get big-name players in their prime. But they could also think about second chances with players who have been historical with the group and who could return at some point.

They don't want the same thing to happen with Roberto Firminho. The Brazilian did not have his contract extended and is looking for a team for the next football year. Although there are some interested parties, it is likely that he will not have much luck and will have to return to Brazil where several clubs are already fighting for what could be the star signing in those lands as they are the most economically powerful league in Latin America. Although it is not ruled out that the new powerful league that Saudi Arabia is putting together is another that will offer him a significant amount of money.

Which player could return to Liverpool?

And then there is the case of Sadio Mané. The Senegalese player, who plays for Bayern Munich, might not be taken into account by Tomas Tuchel because of the fights in the dressing room he has had in the last few games of the season. He scored a brace in Senegal's historic comeback to beat Vinicius Jr's Brazil team 4-2. It would not be unusual for Klopp to consider bringing him back to the English port and teaming him up with Mohamed Salah, one of his preferred attacking partners.
