The Anfield team is ready to come back to their glory days

Liverpool is getting sharp to lead the next Premier League season as they did three years ago. After having signed Alexis McCallister from Brighton at the beginning of the transfer market window, the Reds went through some weeks of apparent calm, and on these days they have strongly come back to the market completing quick signings.

In this sense, the Reds come from signing the Hugarian 22-year-old player from RB Leipzig Dominik Szoboszlai, who has already signed an official contract valid until 2028 with a €70 million clause and had his medical tests already completed in the last few hours.

However, Szoboszlai there is still some work to do for Klopp, who is looking for new reinforcements who could create immediate impact on the team. The German coach is keen on the transfer of Romeo Lavia from Southampton to continue strengthen the Liverpool’s midfield, and according to the British media, he is also willing to go for the transfer of the Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol, from RB Leipzig.

How much would Liverpool pay?

The transfer of Lavia is valued by Southampton at €32 million, while RB Leipzig is asking for at least €75 million to start a potential negotiation for Joško Gvardiol. This last possible transfer is seen a top target and a key signing by Jürgen Klopp, as he considers the Liverpool defense must be strengthen with a big and versatile player. Gvardiol could make an immediate impact on the team, but negotiations for the player won’t be easy as Manchester City is also interested in the player and we could see a battle between Citizens and Reds to complete the transfer.
