Manchester City’s coach Pep Guardiola could secure the reign of his team in English and European football for the next few years with the signing of a generational 17-year-old number 10, who would have been already labeled as the new Messi due to his great talent, recognized by football experts as the best at his age.
The player in question is the Argentine playmaker Claudio Echeverri from River Plate, who has completed a sensational season with the Argentine team, where he has blossomed as the next star of the league and the leader of the next great Argentine generation.
For this reason, Manchester City would have already started to work on the signing of the Argentine wonderkid to secure the dominance of all the football competitions in the next few years, and according to the Italian journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Citizen would be close to sealing the deal for the player.
Following these sources, the Mancunian team will be now ahead of Chelsea and FC Barcelona in the race to sign Echeverri, as they would be in the final stages of the negotiations for the player, who could arrived to the Citizen for around €25-28 million and immediately sent straight out on loan from the club in the January transfer window, including a possible temporary return to River Plate as the club already did in their negotiations for Julian Alvarez.
