Manchester United would satisfy the demands of their coach Erik Ten Hag during the next January transfer window, as the club would be already looking for potential destinations for the English winger Jadon Sancho, who remains kept away from the senior squad activities after his conflict with the Dutchman was revealed.
In this sense, according to the Catalan journal Sport, Manchester United would have already started to offer the player to other big teams in European football, and they would have already made a shocking proposal to FC Barcelona to get rid of the player in a massive transfer swap deal that could see the English winger arrive to Barcelona.
Following these sources, the former Borussia Dortmund player, who joined the Red Devils in 2021 for €85 million, could be headed to FC Barcelona in exchange of the transfer of the Brazilian 26-year-old winger Raphinha, whose level wouldn’t have convinced FC Barcelona’s sporting direction in this season and could be looking for an exit from the club.
The deal could work for Manchester United as Ten Hag would be a great admirer of the Brazilian winger’s abilities, and the fact that he has experience in the Premier League from his stage at Leeds could be a key factor in the value of the player, who according to the information given by Sport could be negotiated by the Red Devils in the next few weeks.
