Manchester United would be ready to start a big competence with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona according to the British media, as the Red Devils would be keen on signing a Brazilian gem in the next few months following the Erik Ten Hag’s requests of having elite young players in the squad and backer by the next minority stakeholder of the club, the British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
In this sense, according to the English football site BBC Sports, the Red Devils could be about to start conversations for one of the most interesting prospects in Brazilian football, an attacking player who seems to be destined to lead the next generation of the Brazilian national team.
According to BBC Sports, the player in question would be the Brazilian 16-year-old striker Estevao Willian, currently playing for Palmeiras and looking as the most promising star in Brazilian football, which would have attracted the attention of Manchester United’s sporting direction in the last few weeks.
Following these sources, the Red Devils would have already sent several scouts to monitor the evolutions of Estevao, already called “Messinho” due to his great abilities and quality on the pitch. The player has a release clause of €50 million in his current contract with Palmeiras but according to the information given by BBC the race for his signing could bring more important offers from the clubs tracking the player.
