Manchester United’s midfielder Mason Mount could be living his hardest days at the institution after having a poor start of the season with the Red Devils, who are currently struggling to remain inside the top ten of the Premier League, despite this would be really far from the real goal of the club which would be leading the league.
Mount, who joined Manchester United in early July for €64 million from Chelsea in a controversial switch in his career, strongly criticized by the football fans in England, specially the Chelsea fans who labeled the move as a betray by the English playmaker, who has not had the dreamed start with the Mancunian club.
Despite having had a really promising arrival being given the iconic Manchester United’s number 7 shirt, Mount has completed only six games with the Red Devils, giving only one assist and remaining scoreless until the moment, which according to the news in the British media could have made the English player to be regretting his switch from Chelsea to Manchester United.
According to the former Premier League Glen Johnson, who was asked whether Mount will be regretting his decision to join United in an interview with Betfred, the player would be really disappointed with the start of the season for Manchester United. "You only want to go there to challenge for major honors, and I know that Chelsea aren’t in a better position at this very moment, but you don’t move to Old Trafford in the expectation that you’re going to struggle”, revealed Johnson about Mount.
