Newcastle would be also worried about an important player potential absence

Liverpool will face Newcastle in the next few weeks with the doubt of the presence of Alexis Mac Allister in the team for the game, since the Argentine player received a red card for a tackle on the Bournemouth’s player Ryan Christie, in a decision taken by referee Thomas Bramall and backed by VAR officials and assistants that could lead Mac Allister to a three-game ban.

In this sense, Liverpool would have already appealed the red card to be able to count on the player against Newcastle and some news about the final FA’s decision would be known in the next few days, while Jürgen Klopp would prepare the game with the possibility of using Endo, Bajcetic or Curtis Jones in the team to replace the Mac Allister’s role in the team.

However, this would not be the only important absence in the game, since Newcastle would be also worried about the presence of one of their players. The Magpies’ coach Eddie Howe analyzed the potential absence of the Brazilian midfielder Joelinton, who has become a Newcastle revelation since he was moved to the team’s midfield.

Newcastle could also appealed the possible ban on their player

In this respect, it is worth remembering that Joelinton was also forced off against Manchester City last week and Newcastle could be also appealing the possible ban on the player to allow him to play against Liverpool, while Eddie Howe would be crossing fingers to count on the player against the Reds.
