The Argentine sent a strong message to the Manchester City boss

New Chelsea era started this week with the Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino leading the project. Pochettino’s arrival to the team is being determined to lead and build the Blues squad that wasn’t able to qualify for any European Competition last year.

After having sold many players in this transfer market window, Chelsea and their manager are ready to make big investments in order to take massive quality  players who can lead the new Chelsea to the glory in England and Europe, with Moises Caicedo, Lautaro Martinez or Paulo Dybala as the main targets at the moment.

The Pochettino project seems to be ambitious enough to take the Blues back to their glory days, and the Argentine coach has already explained his plans at the London institution. Asked about his goals this season, the Argentine coach surprised everyone in a public strong message sent to Manchester City and Pep Guardiola.

Pochettino fuels his rivalry with Manchester City and Pep Guardiola

The new Chelsea coach didn’t have any doubt in mentioning that Chelsea will be ready to face Manchester City and end the Citizens hegemony in the league, as he knows Pep Guardiola very well, having faced the Catalan coach in 20 games in his career. In this sense, Pochettino said to be in a special team, able to win everything. “Chelsea is the best team in England, we are the only team capable of being Champions League winner twice in the last 10 years (2012 and 2021)”, expressed the Argentine coach, clearly sure of the Chelsea possibilities of leading the Premier League next season.
