They are considered to have been horrible investments by the club

Manchester United would be facing difficult times in the last few months, as after getting qualified for the present Champions League in the last season, the team’s poor performance in the European competition would have angered the fans but also the potential owners of the club, such as Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who was reported in the last few hours to be ready to make a huge impact on United’s January transfer market window selling three strikers who have not respond to the elite expectations the club had on them.

According to the English journal The Sun, the English billionaire would be ready to start a difficult negotiation to take Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Antony dos Santos out of the club in the next January transfer market window after drawing up a plan to refund the club for the second part of the season, when Ratcliffe would have planned a millionaire spent in top players signings to improve the team.

Following these sources, Ratcliffe’s plan would want to end with the wrong spent made by the club in the last decade after Sir Alex Ferguson got retired, as the Mancunian institution’s expenses would have ascend to the  £1.4billion on transfers, who finally have not been able to lead the club to the Champions League trophy conquest.

The players haven’t responded to the investment made for them

In this sense, following the information given by The Sun, Anthony Martial (£85million), Jadon Sancho (£73m) and Antony dos Santos (£95m) would be considered as great mistakes in the club’s investments in the last few years, as they would not have responded to the expectations created at their arrival to the club, as this season they have not scored yet at least one single goal for the team.
