The Liverpool legends lived an unimaginable situation in their club

Liverpool legends Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson were surprised in the Saudi Pro League in the last few days by an unimaginable situation in their careers, getting one more disappointment in their stage at the Damman-based club Al Ettifaq, where they arrived last summer to start a new challenge in their careers.

Steven Gerrard, who already coached in England to Aston Villa, was convinced of joining the Saudi team with a lucrative offer despite being reluctant at first to continue his career at the Saudi league, while Gerrard himself convinced Jordan Henderson once he got possession of his charge as Al Ettifaq's manager in the Saudi Pro League.

In this sense, both Liverpool legends have been under the spotlight during the last few months, as the fans have strongly criticized them to join the Saudi league claiming the possible lack of level in the tournament, an argument which in the last few days found another complaint by the fans.

Liverpool fans have gotten furious again

According to the Saudi media, the last Al Ettifaq’s game, where the team got a 1-0 defeat against Riyadh, was played in front of 696 fans, and the Damman-base club had in the lineup the former Liverpool players Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum, coached by Steven Gerrard, fact that have made the Liverpool fans get furious and disappointed, claiming again, according to the reports made by the British media, that they should not be in that league anymore.
