Brighton player’s Moises Caicedo has been one of the most mentioned names at Liverpool in the last few hours, since the player, who seemed to be destined to sign for Chelsea, could finally sign for the Reds, who according to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano would have made a €127 million offer to overcome Chelsea’s €87 million offer. However, the player has been reported to snub Liverpool’s offer in the next few hours due to a personal agreement with Chelsea, after Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp talked about it in the club’s Premier League press conference.
In this sense, the German coach would be still no closer to knowing where Moises Caicedo will play next season and the last maneuvers have made the coach to be seen visibly disappointed and frustrated by the situation according to the British media, since Jürgen Klopp had already faced the media some few hours ago to confirm the club’s interest in the player, who now could snub Liverpool to sign for Chelsea.
In this respect, the English journal Daily Express reported that Liverpool would have been shaken in the last few hours after being told Caicedo only wanted to join Chelsea, since Liverpool would have been confident that they would achieve the transfer, which could have seriously affected Liverpool's coach Jürgen Klopp.
Moreover, according to the Daily Mirror, the German coach would have been left red-faced after having been forced to answer questions about the signing at an event scheduled as a weekly press conference, which would have bitterly frustrated Jürgen Klopp, who would feel disgruntled with the situation, while the future of Caicedo is finally decided.
