The Argentine was again in the United’s lineup in their game against Tottenham

Manchester United’s striker Alejandro Garnacho engraved his name in the Red Devil’s history by equalizing an incredible record set by a club legend. The Argentine player, who last year had some important minutes in the team starting from the bench, this year seems to have become a fixed player in the Ten Hag’s line up.

In this sense, Garnacho started the game against Wolverhampton in which he had some decent minutes on the pitch during the United’s 1-0 win in their Premier League opener in Old Trafford, and he also started the game against Tottenham in the second day of the season.

With his two presences in the Manchester United’s lineup, Garnacho equalized a record set by United legend Ryan Giggs, since at 19 years and 49 days, Alejandro Garnacho is the youngest player to start Manchester United's first two Premier League games in a season since Giggs did it in 1992/1993 with 18 years and 264 days.

Garnacho to break more records with Manchester United

In this sense, the Argentine player would be ready to break new records at United, where he arrived in 2021 from Atletico de Madrid. Since then, Garnacho has become the youngest player to give two assists in a game with Manchester United, and at only 18 has already played alongside Messi in Argentine national team and with Cristiano Ronaldo at United. The Argentine player will try this season to overtake the 13 Premier League games he played last season, his 3 goals scored and his two assists given last season in the league with United.
