The iconic cathedral of football, Anfield, will be the epicenter of a crucial clash next Sunday. Liverpool prepares to host Fulham, eager to secure the lead in the Premier League table. However, the news of Alisson Becker's injury adds an unexpected nuance to the match.

With the possibility of leading the league if they win and both City and Arsenal stumble, the pressure is palpable on the Reds' horizon. This clash promises to be a battle full of intensity and drama in which Liverpool will seek to consolidate their position at the top of English football.

Adama Traore could be fit for Fulham's trip to Liverpool on Sunday after overcoming a small setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury. The Spanish international will undergo a final assessment on Saturday to determine whether he can play at Anfield.

After appearing off the bench in three of Fulham's first four Premier League games of the season, Traore suffered a hamstring injury in a behind-closed-doors friendly match during the September international break. The former Barcelona, Villa, Wolves and Middlesbrough man has made just five appearances in all competitions since signing for Fulham and is yet to be handed a first league start.

The approach of the party

The 27-year-old winger returned to make a substitute appearance in the 3-1 defeat by Aston Villa on November 12, but then had a setback with his injury. Traore, who joined Fulham as a free agent in August, was not risked in Monday's dramatic 3-2 win over former club Wolves at Craven Cottage, left but the stadium walking freely.
