The Italian goalkeeper made a unexpected confession when announced his retirement

The Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon announced his football retirement in the last few hours and he left on his social media a video whose unexpected words and football memories really thrilled the Manchester United fans, when he remembered the best and the worst moments in his career as international goalkeeper.

The 45-year-old, who will end his career after playing for Parma and captain the team in the Serie B, posted a video on his social media compiling all these moments during his 28-year career, in which he played more than 1000 games, winning a World Cup with Italy in 2006 and ten Serie A titles with Juventus, where he became an icon during his presence in the team.

However, according to the information appearing on the British media, the Italian goalkeeper would have said to have lived the worst moment in his career during a horrible and unforgettable night for him, where he faced a Manchester United legend, since the Italian player suffered a dramatic and unexpected defeat by one of the main icons in United’s history, which has highly impressed the Manchester United fans.

Buffon will never forget his last game against Manchester United

The legend we talk about is the Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who in his time as Manchester United coach, starred a massive come back at the Parc des Princes, by reaching a 1-3 victory against Buffon as PSG goalkeeper with a double by Lukaku and a penalty goal by Marcus Rashford in March 2019.
