Manchester United needed good news and it seems they could have it very soon. Erik Ten Hag has demanded the signing of several top targets to the club owners and despite things going really slow for the Dutchman, he could be happy to seal his next arrival to the club after Mason Mount’s.
In this sense, Manchester United started talks for the goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan, as he was identified as the main option to be the new Ten Hag’s goalkeeper after the coach himself asked for the signing of the Cameroonian player to lead his new project from the goal, which ended up even with David De Gea out of the club.
The negotiations are being tough for United, with at least three offer bids rejected by Inter, and after the talks for the player were stalled, they could advance in the next few hours. According to the English journal The Athletic, Andre Onana’s move to Manchester United could be more advanced. There could be still work to do on personal terms and price with Inter but more key talks could be going to take place in the next few hours.
Meanwhile, Andre Onana reported with Inter to take part of the Italian team’s pre-season training, with his mind in the potential move to United, which could happen very soon, as Ten Hag is really pushing the club to get his targeted goalkeeper signed and ready to train with the Red Devils in the next few days.
