The player could be a potential star in Premier League

Chelsea have plotted on the striker's transfer market in the last few days as the Blues are looking for players who can lead their attack. In that sense, the London club has been linked with the Serbian player Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, who seems to be the main target for Mauricio Pochettino after the potential arrival of Lautaro Martinez from Inter got cold.

The negotiations for Vlahovic aren’t being easy for Chelsea, who are trying to convince Romelu Lukaku to be part of the deal, and they could be also looking for alternatives in the market. Chelsea looks for a big man, able to create his own shot in and around the box, but another more physical and athletic profile has been linked with the Blues in the last few hours.

As reported by the French media, Chelsea could have made enquiries about the Montpellier striker Elye Wahi, valued at €30 million and also linked with Eintracht Frankfurt, who are looking for a striker to sign in case they sell Randal Kolo Muani in this transfer window. Elye Wahi is a French 20-year-old striker under contract until 2025 with Montpellier and comes from scoring 19 goals in 33 games played with his team in all competitions.

The player could already have turned down some offers from the Premier League

Following the French media sources, Chelsea is intensifying the talks for Wahi and is expected to present an offer for the player in the next few days. Wahi is considered by the football experts the next French star to come out in the French League, as he has been an integral part of Montpellier’s attack, having scored as non-penalty goals as Neymar last season.

Newcastle United and Manchester United have been linked with the player, who has already turned down Union Berlin, Lazio and Bournemouth offers. He is expecting some better offers, which could happen soon if Chelsea decides to make this interesting investment.
