Jürgen Klopp is planning next season for Liverpool with several goals in mind to take the Reds’ back to their glory days, having a leading role at the Premier League and being able to face the biggest European teams. In that sense, the German coach has started to rejuvenate the team with the arrivals of Alexis McCallister and Dominik Szobolzslai but maybe his plans should go further.

Klopp plans seem to go really well, but the transfer market window could make Liverpool to look for more reinforcements at the club, as in the last few hours the club has received an offer for one of its most important and beloved players in the squad, whose absence in the institution could cause an authentic revolution for Klopp’s team.

We talk about the Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk, who in the last few hours has been linked with the Saudi Pro League, causing the surprise at the club and the worries of the Liverpool fans. In this sense, Al Ittihad, the Saudi team who has already signed Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Jota in this transfer window, is looking for a new defender and their coach Nuno Espirito Santo would have put his eyes on Virgil Van Dijk.

The offer for Van Dijk could be irresistible

According to the British media, Al Ittihad would already have sent its offer to Liverpool, offering  €60 million for the player. In that sense, it hasn’t been revealed the salary offered to Van Dijk, but Al Ittihad would assure the player a huge amount, which could be difficult to reject. In fact, it is worth to say Al Ittihad is the current champions in the Saudi Pro League and has two players with big salaries in the team: Benzema and N’Golo Kante. Both French players are already highly paid by the Al Ittihad, with a salary of €100 million per year in their contracts and the Saudi club could be ready to offer a similar amount to Virgil Van Dijk.
