A decade ago, Eden Hazard was involved in an unfortunate incident with a ball boy during a Swansea-Chelsea Cup match when the kid tried to protect a ball for the locals at the Belgian's insistence that he not waste time and give it to him. Nervous, the former Madrid player kicked him and the image then provoked a barrage of criticism towards the footballer, who ended up apologizing.

But, what was that story like between the young ball boy and Hazard? Swansea and Chelsea were drawn together in the semi-finals of the League Cup. The Welsh team won 0-2 at Stamford Bridge in the first leg thanks to goals from Michu and Graham. The second leg was going to be a battle for the Welsh where Chelsea would try to come back at all costs. Therefore, Swansea used all its weapons to achieve a historic qualification to the final. Charlie Morgan, 17 years old and son of the club's director, Martin Morgan, was a ball boy in that game.

It all happened in the 78th minute of the game, with the score at 0-0 and Chelsea unable to turn the tie around. That's when young Morgan unnerved Hazard. The ball went wide in the area where the president's son was and, instead of returning the ball, he crouched over the ball to prevent the Chelsea player from being able to serve quickly. This made the Belgian kick him in the ribs so that he finally let go of the ball. This episode went viral in the country, but the really striking thing about this boy has come with the vodka brand that he runs.

Well then. That boy, Charlie Morgan, who was 17 years old at the time, has ended up being a millionaire. In 2016, three years after the incident with Hazard, he founded his own company together with a school friend, the beverage brand Au Vodka. In 2019, the two entrepreneurs managed to sell more than 10,000 bottles of one of their black grape vodkas in one month. At the beginning of this year, the young man's fortune is estimated at around 40 million pounds after the success of his business.

His company currently

Morgan's is one of the fastest growing companies in Britain. The value of the company is currently estimated at around £150 million. Morgan owes this in part to the collaboration with some great figures such as Ronaldinho, Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather, who promoted his products.
