Liverpool and Arsenal will play a crucial game in their race to conquer the Premier League title this season on the eighteenth day of the 2023/2024 season, as the Reds will hosts the Gunners in Anfield and will try to recover the leadership in the competition, while the North London team will try to get a good result to remain on the top of the league.

However, both teams will have important absences for the game, where several key players will be missed in both sides to compete at the highest level against their rivals for the top of the league, while Jürgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta would try to make the right choices to compose their best lineup for the crucial game.

In this sense, Arsenal will arrive to Anfield with a long list of absences headed by the Brazilian midfielder Jorginho and the Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, while Fabio Vieira, Elneny and Partey were added to the list in the last few games and Jurrien Timber remains absent from the team since the month of August.

Liverpool will have six absences for the game

On their side, Liverpool would present a list headed by the Argentine midfielder Mac Allister, who will remain on the sidelines until January, as it would happen with the left back Andy Robertson, Jota and Bajcetic, who will be also out of the game against the Gunners, while Thiago, who isn’t fit yet and Matip, who has a long term injury will be also out of the squad.
