Manchester City’s player Jack Grealish could be a reason to be worried for the Citizen fans in the last few hours, since the English striker was recently withdrawn from the England national team called up alongside Liverpool’s player Trent Alexander Arnold and their absences in the team were not unnoticed.
Grealish, who was absent from the Manchester City’s squad against Fulham on the fourth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, would have been ruled out of the England national team squad due to a thigh injury, as reported by the English journal The Athletic in the last few hours, which would have strongly worried the Citizen institution.
In this sense, the Mancunian journal Manchester Evening Standard confirmed this information, adding that Grealish picked a thigh injury before Manchester City’s clash against Fulham, which could be more serious than expected regarding he is not available to play with the England national team either.
Following these sources, Grealish would return to Manchester to be scanned by the medicals at the club and determine the severity of his injury to make a decision about it for the next few games, once Pep Guardiola could return to his charge after the international break after having recovered from a back surgery.
