The potential rivals of the English teams in the Champions League

The English teams completed the last day of the 2023/2024 Champions League stage with important news, as finally only two from the four clubs participating in the tournament will be able to keep on fighting for the title, once the other two remained already eliminated from the competition.

Meanwhile, the performances completed by Manchester City and Arsenal have been completely different, as both teams qualify for the next round as the corresponding leaders of their groups, and would be waiting for their rivals in the Round of 16 of the competition, which will be announced on Monday after the tournament’s draw is revealed.

In this respect, both teams will be on the pot 1 of the draw, and they could face any team from the pot 2 excepting the teams faced in the group stage, which will include the following teams as the potential rivals of the Citizen and the Gunners for the next round of the Champions League: PSG, Inter, Lazio, Napoli, Porto, RB Leipzig, Copenhagen and PSV.
