Chelsea seems to be willing to carry out a major restructuring of the squad this summer after being left out of European competitions for next season, and that is why the London team has sold several players, for which it has pocketed around 240 million euros.
From established players like Kalidou Koulibaly, to talented youngsters like Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, Chelsea has sold players that attracted the interest of other teams, who were willing to pay large sums to sign them, and it seems that the sales are not over yet at Stamford Bridge.
With the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino to the Blues' bench, Chelsea is expected to focus on signing young, but very promising players, who can be part of the new project of the Argentine tactician who promises to take Chelsea back to the top of the Premier League, and that is why they have set their sights on Moises Caicedo, the 21-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder who belongs to Brighton & Hove Albion and for whom they are asking around €100 million.
However, in order to be able to afford his signing, and to start signing other players with more freedom, Chelsea would be looking to get rid of other players who, in the past, were world football stars and for whom they could get a great amount of money.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea is hoping to make the departures of Romelu Lukaku, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Hakim Ziyech. All three players have had offers to join other teams and it seems that it will be a matter of time before they leave Stamford Bridge.
