Everybody in Liverpool’s universe considers the team must step up in the aspirations to conquer titles in the next season. The Red fans want to come back to the glory days of the club and Jürgen Klopp is working on the dream, with the team’s midfield as the key part to rebuild the team and the area from where the Reds could come back to the glory.
In this sense, the German coach has almost finished fitting all the pieces of the midfield puzzle, with two offensive players who can lead the transitions to the attack and a young midfielder who can be able to replace Fabinho in the short term. With that goal, Alexis McCallister and Dominik Szobozslai have arrived to complete the offensive roles and everybody at Anfield expects they can lead the team for many years.
Given that, the next Klopp’s goal is finding a midfielder who can cover the defensive role in that area, and several names have already appeared, while the club tries to find the best market opportunity, and it could have appeared.
Among the options, and according to the British media, it has come up with the name of the Portuguese player Florentino Luis, who has already been linked with FC Barcelona this summer. The 23-year-old player has completed 54 games played with Benfica in all competitions, from which he played 10 games at the Champions League.
Florentino Luis is considered by the football experts as the next great Portuguese midfielder, as he has impressed everybody at Benfica this season because of his great awareness of the space, his positioning and his ability to recover a big amount of balls. All these characteristics could make him the next Liverpool transfer, as Jürgen Klopp could be pulling the trigger on signing him very soon.
