Red Devils fans are no longer forgiving the Spanish goalkeeper's mistakes that have taken away points and titles.

Manchester United had the chance to ruin Manchester City's golden season, but in the end they lost the FA Cup final match by being beaten 2-1 at Wembley Stadium, leaving them with a clear path to the treble and the best team in Europe.

Most of the anger of the supporters in recent matches has been due to the mistakes of the Red Devils' players, which have cost them points in the Premier League and tickets to the final stages of European competitions such as the UEFA Europa League, where they were beaten by Sevilla in the quarter-finals.

And another complaint from United fans has been the seniority of some players who are past their prime. Others, such as Harry Maguire, whose poor spell in defence at Old Trafford has led some to believe he should be paid to leave the club and no longer make a nuisance of himself.

David de Gea has been with the institution for more than 12 years. He has been able to be a Premier League champion with Manchester United and earned his place in the Spain national team. But perhaps for the media and social media, it's time for the veteran goalkeeper to go.

How angry were the fans with De Gea?

In the FA Cup final clash, İlkay Gündoğan scored two long-range goals to give the Citizens the win. David de Gea came up short in his saves and the team's fans have been criticising his performance, and the board are seriously considering signing a new goalkeeper for next season.
