Ex Manchester United player David De Gea could have a new destination in his career according to the information appearing about him in the last few hours, setting that the Spanish goalkeeper could have a new suitor who could decide to speed up the negotiations for the player, whose transfer could be sealed in the next few hours after spending a jobless summer.
According to the Spanish media, Real Betis would be monitoring the possibility of signing the ex Manchester United player as a free agent in the market, as the Spanish team’s goalkeeper Rui Silva has just gotten injured and they would be keen on signing a free goalkeeper to cover the Portuguese player’s absence.
In this sense, it is worth remembering that Rui Silva, the current first goalkeeper at Real Betis, got injured this weekend against FC Barcelona, and the Andalusian club would have confirmed he would be out for more than two months with the club, while the second goalkeeper in the team, Claudio Bravo would be still recovering from an injury, and the young Fran Vieites would be still considered inexperienced to be placed in the team’s lineup for the Spanish league and the Europa League.
In this respect, Real Betis’ sporting director, Ramon Planes, would have put on the table the name of David De Gea as a possibility to become the first goalkeeper for Betis, and at the ex Manchester United player, who would have already rejected the Saudi Pro League alongside some European teams this summer, could finally have a new team if negotiations advance in the next few days.
