His new club is ready to impact the Premier League

The amount of money to sign Declan Rice is paralyzing England, as his new team could be ready to be strengthened enough to conquer the next Premier League. The West Ham player will arrive at his new club as an English superstar, as the chosen one to lead any English team to lead all competitions next season.

Declan Rice comes from winning the Europa Conference Cup with West Ham and qualifying his already ex team to play Europa League next season. But Declan has other plans, as he considers the next step in his career should be given. In this sense, Arsenal and Manchester City have been fighting for the player until the last few days, when we have been able to know the player's decision: he will play for Arsenal in the 2023-2024 season.

It hasn’t been an easy signing for the Gunners, as Manchester City has put all the money on the table to sign whom Pep Guardiola considers a key player for the next few years. The Gunners agreed a £105 million deal in principle with West Ham with their captain and he will complete his medical tests in the next few days. Despite the desire of the player, Manchester City ran the race for him equalizing the £90 million offer from the Gunners, who finally arrived at a final £105 million bid which ended convincing West Ham to sell the player and paralyzed England.

Why pay that much for Declan Rice?

Signing Declan Rice for such a big amount of money means a lot for any Premier League contender. The quality shown by the player during last season, having played 50 games in all competitions and being the next star in England's midfield with Bellingham suggests the team owning the player could immediately become a candidate to win the Premier League.

The Arsenal coach determination to get the player has been reported to be linked with that. Arsenal lost the league title last season against the Sky Blues, and the Gunner’s coach, Mikel Arteta, has decided to destroy the Manchester City hegemony in England and impact the Premier League. Beating the Citizen in the race to sign a player like Declan Rice, seems a good way to start doing it.
