We are talking about Bergwijn, the Dutch winger who wanted to stay in Amsterdam last summer when he received offers from several clubs, but it seems that he now regrets his choice. West Ham is very attentive to the player, since the club believes that he would fit perfectly into the team's schemes because after his time at Tottenham, he already knows the Premier League very well. 

The 26-year-old winger has a contract until 2027 with Ajax, and his value is around €25 million, an amount that West Ham agree to pay. So we will have to be attentive to the Bergwijn environment and see if there are rapprochements between both clubs.

Despite the expectations generated during his time with Spurs, Bergwijn did not reach the expected levels, which led to his departure in the summer of 2022, being acquired by Ajax for a record amount in the Eredivisie. Since his arrival at the Dutch club, the Dutch international has participated in 61 matches, contributing with 31 goals.

Although he has proven his worth at Ajax, Bergwijn has faced criticism both on a personal level and for the team's performance. Despite contributing nine goals this season, the 26-year-old winger is reportedly considering a move in the upcoming transfer window, with West Ham emerging as a notable suitor.
