Liverpool legend Jordan Henderson was under the spotlight in the last few hours after having a big clash with the former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo in the game facing Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq in the King Cup, one of the main tournaments in the Arabia Saudi’s season.
In this sense, it would be worth mentioning that the Portuguese superstar was moaned during the game with continuous chants by the rival public, who shout “Messi, Messi, Messi” after the Argentine player won his eighth Ballon d’Or title ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was ranked in the 829th position of the award.
The rival public chants would have contributed to heat Cristiano Ronaldo, who blew up during one of the actions in the game involving Jordan Henderson, where the Portuguese superstar claimed for a red card to be shown to the Liverpool former player. In the video showing the action, it can be seen that Ali Hazazi felled Otavio with a late challenge which earned the Al-Ettifaq player a red card, with Henderson then shoving Otavio to the ground three times afterwards.
Despite the action by Henderson happened few metters close to the referee, the Liverpool former player was not shown the red card, and that angered the Al Nassr players Aymeric Laporte and Alex Telles, who went to defend their teammate, while Cristiano Ronaldo absolutely angered confronted Henderson at the end of the game.
