Ex Liverpool player Jordan Henderson surprised the football fans in the last few hours, revealing who he thinks the best player in the world would be nowadays in an interview conceded for the Arabian TV, where he appeared dressed with the Al Ettifaq colors making some important revelations about his present in the Saudi Pro League and giving his opinion about some football topics.
In this sense, the ex Liverpool captain, who has already played six games in the Arabian competition, has earned great popularity in the tournament and the country, after arriving from Liverpool to Al Ettifaq this summer for around €15 million and having become the captain of the team located in Damman.
For that reason, he was contacted for an interview for Arabian TV, where he did not have any doubt on revealing Mohamed Salah as the best player in the world from his point of view. “Maybe I’m a little bit biased because he’s my friend but I’ve seen the dedication, the sacrifice he has every single day on the training ground, his consistency of performances, scoring his goals – that’s why for me at the moment – he is the best player in the world”, said Henderson.
In this respect, Saudi side Al Ittihad would agree with Jordan Henderson regarding their determination to sign Mohamed Salah during this summer transfer window, where the Jeddah-based club made Liverpool a €175 million verbal offer to grant the player’s arrival to the institution, which would have been rejected by the Reds, while the Saudi side would be ready to return to their negotiations for the Egyptian player in the next January transfer market window.
