Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher talked about Moises Caicedo debut with Chelsea in the West Ham’s home league’s opener in the second day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, in which the Blues got a 3-1 defeat that left the team with only a point on the table after two games played.

In this sense, the English former Liverpool player commented the Moises Caicedo’s performance in the game with Chelsea, after the Ecuadorian player decided to snub Liverpool’s interest to join the Blues in the last few days of the transfer market, which clearly marked the Jamie Carragher’s critics to the player.

Caicedo, who entered in the game against West Ham in the 61st minute of the game when Chelsea was being defeated 2-1, had a chance to score the 2-2 for Chelsea only one minute after joining the game, but he seemed nervous and inefficient according to Carragher, and at the 95th minute he made a penalty on Emerson, that Lucas Paqueta converted in the 3-1 for West Ham.

Jamie Carragher labeled the Caicedo debut as a nightmare on Sky Sports

Carragher labeled the Caicedo debut as a poor nightmare on Sky Sports: “Caicedo had a bit of a nightmare since he came on, it was a poor, lazy challenge. He came in, just his third touch for Chelsea. Not known for his goals, not sure he's been bought for that!”, said Carragher
