Jürgen Klopp's team are reportedly willing to negotiate for a talented midfielder from the Spanish club.

Rumours of a complete overhaul of Liverpool's squad continue to clear. Jürgen Klopp believes there are players who are past their best and does not want to waste a minute in order to sign the best he can get in the summer transfer window.

The German manager is still disappointed to have finished fourth and been eliminated early from the UEFA Champions League. Now, he can have a rematch and be one of the favourites to win the UEFA Europa League with a competitive and strong squad.

One player is already confirmed to have left and that is Roberto Firminho. The southamerican striker was notified a few months ago and is now looking for a team that can give him the opportunity to return to the top and be considered for the Brazil national team in the next qualifiers.

But the Reds' weak point is in midfield. And there is already interest in an FC Barcelona player who would be a priority for Klopp. He had just arrived with the Spanish side but their wage bill has to come down and now they have to get rid of some purchases they made last season.

Which Barcelona player does Klopp want?

Media reports in Spain suggest that Frank Kessie could be on his way to Liverpool. The FC Barcelona first-choice midfielder is one of the men on the transfer list and would help the club managed by Xavi Hernandez to ease their financial problems and be able to sign new players for the next Spanish league season.
