Manchester City suffered to achieve a 1-2 win over Luton Town in Kenilworth Road on the sixteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, in a game where the locals got the lead and put the Citizen on the ropes for a great part of the game as they had already did against Liverpool or Arsenal in the last few weeks.

In this sense, although Manchester City were finally able to complete a sensational and exciting comeback in the game during the second half, their game was inefficient against the Hatters, who were about to surprise the visitors with the really organized defensive line set by the manager Robb Edwards.

In this respect, only the individualities of the visitors were essential to make the difference in the game against Luton Town, who despite being one of the most humble teams in the Premier League have been able to show a great quality and competitiveness during the campaign.

Only Jack Grealish worths more than Luton’s entire squad

This aspect has gone viral in the last few hours, as according to the sporting data company Opta Sport, while Manchester City’s squad is currently valued at €1.20 billion, Luton Town’s squad would be valued at only €76 million, far away from the price that the Citizen have paid for the signing of some of their players facing the Hatters in Kenilworth Road, such as Jack Grealish (€117 million) or Gvardiol (€90 million).
