The player is in the prime of his career and could end it in Germany.

The fallout from Manchester City's UEFA Champions League triumph over Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul, Turkey continues. There are some players who are already playing Euro 2024 qualifiers and others who are taking a well-deserved holiday for all the hard work they have put in over the last part of the season.

Josep Guardiola is the only one who has not wanted to take this break and is already starting to plan the team's pre-season to achieve a second treble that would make it even more historic for world football. That is why he is analysing the names that will no longer be with the Citizens next season.

There are cases like Riyad Mahrez, who is about to accept an offer from Saudi Arabia to join Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in trying to make this new league appeal to fans around the world and act as spokesmen for the region.

But there are veterans who are at the top of their game and despite their age are still attracting interest from top clubs in Europe. And they will think about their immediate future as well as understand that this stage will not last long, so if Bayern Munich are interested in you it might be time to accept it.

City veteran wanted by Munich

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Kyle Walker is Bayern Munich's top target for next season after Joao Cancelo is set to return to Manchester City. Although the decision has not been made, Walker's future is being analysed by Guardiola and consideration is being given to opening the door for him to succeed in the Bundesliga.
